Jarad Higgins was born in Chicago, Illinois on the 2nd of December, 1998.

Higgins’ parents divorced when he was 3 years old. His parents were very religious and conservative during his childhood which meant that he couldn’t listen to hip-hop music.

Higgins attended Homewood-Flossmoor High School and he began drinking at a very early age. He was also a heavy drug user during his childhood and teens.

At the skyrocket of his career, Juice Wrld passed away on December 8, 2019 at the age of 21. He suffered from an unknown medical emergency upon landing at Chicago’s Midway International Airport. He began convulsing and seizing and was brought to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois.

On January 22, 2020, an autopsy result of his body was released. Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that his death was caused by an overdose of oxycodone and codeine. The pilot notified law enforcement officers that the jet was carrying guns and drugs. In an effort to hide the drugs, Juice Wrld swallowed several pills, including Percocet. One of his associates revealed that he became addicted to Percocet.


Juice Wrld was one of the younger successful rappers in the industry. He was far too young and far too talented to already be leaving this life. No doubt he’ll be remembered, and his music will live on.
